nod in their general direction
wave like the queen, while trying to hold your line
ignore them, your concentrating here
a rotation of the above, depends on how friendly your feeling

I normally wave but find most people or nod or seem to ignore other bikersOriginally Posted by dawnrazor
Never have liked taking my hands of the the bars but there are exceptions but wavings not one of them. Sometimes just wag my four right hand fingers while keeping the palm on the throttle grip. Nod sometimes. But if I'm in traffic or on a bend that requires my full attention socializing on the road is the last of my prioties.

Over the last couple of weeks I've added the two fingered salute to those riders who think it's their right to be on my side of the road when passing tin tops without allowing enough passing space and expecting me to pull over to the left. Wankers.![]()
Nod in town, wave in the countryside.
Grow older but never grow up
