A wise man told me that the more honest you are with yourself as to how you want to use your tyres the better service you will get from them.

Mark may not have been very honest with himself but as another wise man said, "Better to have more rubber than you need than need more rubber than you have".

Which is fine - until it rains...

    Yeah.

The Supercorsa SP is the hard compound version and should be fine for road use. Would still be good to take it easy when it's wet though.

Mines not bad in wet but if you want ride very hard wets not a good time to do it on the road.
That back tyre wouldn't be a great wet weather road tyre also.

    Exactly...

Nz road quality in the wet / the road in general is no place to push limits...

For me its about seat time and learning.

I'm not out riding to soak in scenery nor pretend i'm Valentino Rossi.

Had the wheels out of my old girl the other day. The Bridgies are pretty much rooted. Really evenly worn from chicken strip to chicken strip.

Think I'll give the newer version of the same a go.

You looking at the S21's? Got them on the 1290 and love them.

There would have needed to be a retardation if the new one isn't as good as the old one.

I'm not really looking for an improvement, S20s did more than I wanted them to do.

260kph on the road falls into what category? No body whinges about their front tyre grip, only the rate that it drops in.

You mean S21 front and M7RR rear? Not sure why you'd do that.

Agree. M7RR appears to be a very good tyre - do the same on the front.

They are very good tyres - the only downside so far is you corner faster!
