    Try Grans Remedy, available from stores in NZ, works on shoes, same sweaty smell as feet

    Someone gave me the baking soda idea a couple of weeks back. It actually worked okish.

    But then there's this gritty white powder at the tips of your fingers. Gloves of course are too armoured to turn inside out.

    I got a piece of garden hose to feed in each finger separately and vacuumed using some rag to seal the hose to the pipe. Did work a bit, but not enough. Contemplating next move. Found some other winter gloves but these ones were better.

    Put them in the washing machine with Canesten or Dettol laundry "hygiene" rinse. That stuff contains benzalkonium chloride, kills all the stinky microbes.
