90% of all Harleys built are still on the road... The other 10% made it back home...
Ducati... Makeing riders into mechaincs since 1964...
KTM bought Husaberg in 1995. KTM's CEO Stefan Pierer bought Husky from BMW Motorrad the two formerly Swedish brands will be brought back under one umbrella.

So a 2011 Husaburg is in fact a KTM...

The 300? Only minor differences, with suspension being the biggest from what I've read, otherwise twins.
nah yes and no....
If you look at any post 95 ktm 4T they are basically developed from Husaberg basis, which in turn is of course a rengineered Husky.
Which is not surprising considering the designers that form Husaberg came from Husky and didn't want to move to Italy
Prior to the Berg takeover KTM were flondering with Rotax 4t and LC4's etc, nothing as grand or light as the bergs
Now days its KTM that have taken the lead.
Even the back to front upside down bergs share a lot of top end parts with KTM.
KtM are using Berg as a boutique brand much like Lexus, only cool.
The real Husbergs IMO stopped arround 2003ish.
i thought they stopped selling husabergs when they relaunched Husqvarna?
My Husaberg (2014 Fe250 ) was the last year of production- theres a sticker on the back celebrating 25year of production.

Life…you get one shot…take it.
One broken spoke. The leg sheild near the brake pedal is broken, thats it.
Some bugger made their own chain slider out of a piece of trailer mudflap and thats slightly annoying.
It hates any fuel older than about 2 weeks.
There are a couple in the SI the same so i heard.
Mine is in MX trim but i suspect its an Enduro as it has a ligthing plug under the seat. But Maybe they all had them?
I think most of the issues people had with them were down to not changing the oil all the time. Plus the tiny air filter which should be cleaned after each ride.
Nice bike to ride. Nice bike to look at as well, All the cases are sand cast.
edit oh yeah the kick start is bloody slippery.
but no engine dramas, despite the reputation.
Now here's a paintjob they shouldhave stayed with, poopooing the no white thing.
Looks a lot lighter too. Seem to have done away with a lot of the non essential engine parts.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.
