Saw a guy on a CBR250 stoped under the Nauranga flyover yesterday. I was in the van so I stoped and asked if he wanted to chuck the bike in.
He said his chain came off and he couldn't get it back on, but help was on the way.
Good to see he was wearing proper protective gear though.![]()
A couple of lessons in this that could save you and someone else a lot of bother.
1. Maintain your chain's tension.
2. Carry sufficent tools to fix any minor problems.
A derailed chain can be a dangerous thing if you are in urgent need of power to your back wheel.
