Arrow Don't buy a new bike until you see these

Big Dave's October Kiwi Rider post mentioned new suzuki models for 2006, so I went onto the UK site and found these pair. The GSR600 looks amazing, a GSXR600 engine detuned for a naked bike, great specs. Real competition for the hornet, I guess the bandit 600 is gone/going from the new range. Looks a beaut.
And look at the new GSXR600K6, even if you hate sportsbike you have to admit it looks amazing in black, can't wait to see one in the flesh, shame they went for the underseat exhaust. I might have to talk to colemans about a trade-in.
There is also a new Bandit 1200S, which looks like it has had a raft of new changes flung at it, about time to, great bike let down by some poor components.

This is metal porno people, porno for the mind as well as the crotch.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have some day dreaming to do

I'm relatively uneducated in new and near-new sprotsbikes. What kind of differences will the K6 have as compared to your K4 GSXR600?

Damn, my prejiduce (sp?) against Jinxers might just have to go away now. I like the look of the second bike pic.

BTW dude, I don't see any underseat exhaust on it. That little black box type thing with the slachcut slots under and behind the riders pegs looks like the pipe to me.

The GSXR600K6 looks perfect, but I want to see what the REAL B-King looks like.

I checked out the new Bandit, but it wasn't new enough to want to wait. I'll get a new K5/6 now and maybe there'll be a really new one next changeover time.

haven't had a chance to read any of the specs and do a side by side, but right away, there has been a 100% redesign, and if it anything like the job they did on the GSXR1000K5, then there could be a list of component changes as long as your arm, but lighter faster smaller, and now with over 100bhp at the back wheel.

Yeah I noticed its still got carbs, I reckon if that GSR600 sells well, you could see a GSR1000, which might well knock the bandit 1200 out of the line up. Particularly when you consider that the bandit only meets EU2 emissions levels and the GSXR engine will surpasse EU3 levels.
