Michael Dunlop at Wanganui

I noticed on the live lap-by-lap timings that MD started both F1 races on Boxing Day, but didn't finish either of them. I also see that he didn't start the Robert Holden Memorial race, either.

Was anyone there who could enlighten me as to the reason(s)?

I believe it was bike problems. Unsure who supplied the bike but would have been nice if someone could have lent him another bike as he was the drawcard.

I remember many years ago when I was at a MX in Auckland. During the lunchbreak there was to be a charity 'race'.....Mike Hailwood v Rees Jones...and no-one wanted to lend either a bike. Shows what a bunch of fucking losers the competitors were that day.
