Motorbike Transport Companies

Hello everybody

I'm about to purchase my first bike ! YAY (MT-07)
Unfortunately the bike I'm wanting to buy is located in Auckland and I'm located in Wellington.

Which company do you guys recommend for transporting motorbike safely and timely ? I've read a few old threads but they're 3+ years old so any updates on who to use now would be greatly appreciated

Or If some one is willing to ride it down for me hahaha ?

Yea I'll probably use Bike Trans, I've got license but I would rather not ride it down as I haven't rode any sort of bike in 3 years. Plus I'm quite new to riding on the road. Rather be safe and take my time to learn

It's just a bit longer than most of the roads heading to your place.Go on, be a devil, fly, hitch hike up, ride YOUR bike back. Take your time, enjoy the scenery and getting reacquainted with a road going motorcycle. Not that hard and a bloody good way to discover what you do and dont like about your new ride.

It's commendable that you would rather play it safe with your lack of recent riding and use a transport company. But in all honesty, the only way to get back into it, is to ride it.
Just take it easy to start with. You will find your groove pretty quickly.

My first ride ever was from Napier to Auckland. Wasn't hard. Just follow the recommended corner speeds until your confidence is up and then stick to a safe pace. Take rest stops every 2 hours.
