I was the guy on the blue R1 who tucked in behind. Great ride, thanks.

Hehe was going to start similar thread few weeks ago. Coming into taupo and do the wave to a 600/1000 blade and I get a massive wheelie in response lol.

Considering this is a motorcycling website it could be considered that the OP made an appropriate post. Unlike the initial responses.

But hey I'm not a moderator, if you want to post irrelevant rubbish knock yerselves out.

I did taupo to taumarunui thru to ohura on the gravel thru kiwi rd to urenui, two up with 3 weeks luggage. Didn't see any other traffic once I left taumarunui, fuckin magic! Saw heaps of bikes between taupo and taumarunui, was something going on?

We were travelling back to Auckland after going to the air show at Ohakea on Saturday. There was just too much traffic on SH1 so we turned off at Waiouru and went through Taumaranui. Very little traffic until we hit SH3.
