The thin blue line have had a bit a speed blitz in Exmouth St, Northcote over the last 3 weeks. This morning I was rumbling my way along, under 60 k's, when a middle aged female jogger gave me the slow down sign. I initially thought, "stupid cow I'm not going fast" when she pointed back to the corner.
Sure enough I get around the blind right and there's Plod, Stalker going, flashers on, while he deals with a victim.
I'd thought that the Police presence was due to complaints about noisy, speeding motorbicycles.
It seems that not all the residents mind.

it's so nice when people give you a signal like that, even if you are speeding or not, it makes you feel like other people like bikers too.........aaaahhh, that feeling of being loved by one in every 300 cage drivers....
