I have read it is to do with horse racing from a while back, when looking to give the horse more performance a cocktail of drugs, known as 'soup', would be injected into the horse. Or that could be an urban myth type thing...

I would just like to add that although the ZX-10 makes more power, the GSXR1000 is lighter... so there power to weight ratios (based on stock weight, dry) are ZX10R - 0.85 / GSXR1000 - 0.858...

Sooooooo, what does this mean?? THE ZOOK IS FASTER!!!!

    GO SUZUKI!!!! :hbd:

well have you factored in gearing, final drive ratio, fricton on the drive line...weight of all the recipricating parts on the drive line and the interia force they produce...which is a resistance....they are all part of the equation......

But I'm only being a smart arse...as the gsxr is the king at the moment....won't be for long....but is for now
