It does have a new wof though. Also had a dodgy front brake switch but Ive already had that apart, cleaned the corroded contacts and walaaa, it works sweet. I see the oil specifed is a SAE 10W40 - can I assume then that i can use the same oil as I use in my Sooby wagon. Valvoline VR1 SAE10W40 Semi Synthetic??

Fork Seals are pretty easy if you take your time and do it properly. If you get someone who's done it before to help you, anyone with basic mechanical knowledge and your average tools can do it.
As for the oil, check it doesn't have friction modifiers in it. These tend to give you a bit of grief if you have a wet clutch, as they make it slip. I tend to stay away from synthetics with mine but others swear by them.
Good luck with learning about your bike. There's some regular spanner evenings held up in Auckland. Try and attend one - you'll learn heaps.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.
