    as an idea as to whether i am protective or not, i have owned my bike since new, i have used the same mechanic and he has ridden my bike on occasion, i of course have ridden my bike on more than one occasion, only one other person has ridden my bike in the 17yrs i have owned it, naaa not protective at all

    I would lend someone a trailer as long as their was beers involved and I knew where they lived.
    Maybe I would lend out a GN250 to someone I didn't like much.

    I had lent my S1000RR to people before, but then they were real good friends of mine.

    OP ain't a real good friend of mine tho.

    Some years ago a random Indian stranger once sat on my bike to pose for his selfie without asking my permission. I nearly killed him


    If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.
