Post Getting rid of this thing.

Hi, Im looking to sell my 2016 GN125h for around $1500-1800. If i cant get that im going to scrap it. Im just bored of it and I can't be arsed anymore until I get my new bike. Anyone know any motorcycle places that will buy the bike etc and scrap it for parts or they sell it? etc.

Im in Christchurch, the bike is in great condition. I bought it in august last year. Im just bored of it, Cheers.

You could take all the unnecessary parts like mudguards off, wrap the exhaust in tape, call it a bobber, and put it on Trademe for $8,000. That seems to be a thing these days.

Why don't you just keep it for now, then part-exchange it when you get your new bike?

If it is of so little value to you, why don't you just use it as a trade in?

Um, TradeMe, $1, no reserve? Get what the market thinks it is worth?

Probably beats the hassle of parting it out and the return on scrapping it. So win-win?

Jeez. A boring bike is better than no bike. Just look at the bikes I've been riding!

It's a bit like dumping your average looking girfriend and waiting for the stunner to come along and just going without in the meantime. A ride is still a ride ... if you see the parallel I'm drawing.
