Shite weather is the norm there. Brilliant racing though. The track (road) layout seems to give a bit of everything. I like the helicopter coverage as you can see slipstreaming at work.

I put a comment about the NW200 in the WSBK thread.

That was some of the most exciting stuff I have watched in some time. After a hard days racing and an equally long night watching that, I have had to write my day today off as a 'won't get much done today', day.

Shame about McPint though. Multiple broken bones and multiple surgeries to get him right.

Was there any mention on the telly of Bruce Anstey? I see that he was entered on the 'old' Fireblade, but he didn't feature at all in practice and results.

Honda Racing withdrew from the event after McPint's crash. I saw Bruce briefly in a pits clip.

he did race but pulled in to pits when he got some raindrops on his visor, i think he was lighting the rear up on a couple of damp patches that were developing. i imagine last year will still be fresh in his memory and he would have been wanting to stay fit for IOM

The bike not shutting off when John McGuinness shut the throttle at the NW200 sounds a bit too similar to Casey Stoner's crash at the Suzuka 8 hours. What is it with Honda Fireblades?
