I'd agree...... Took my bike out while on hold over winter and was concerned the whole time that I'd either get pinged by a cop or pinged by lack of insurance if I had a spill. Not worth the stress for a couple of hundred dollars a year - I gain it back in enjoyment.

I meant that I'd rather spend the money on rego and enjoy riding my bike. Like the spin though, haha!

Have taken my bike out while on hold but never feel nervous about being caught as I have devised a work around that may or may not be legal so I wont state it on here. As for insurance I have enough confidence in my riding ability to no longer need full cover anyway despite what some may think on here plus I dont ride everyday which substantially reduces my risk exposure.

With the added bonus of reducing the general public's exposure too.

I check with my insurance co on a couple of occasions and a none rego of my bike doesn't affect my insurance, but a accident with no warrant is the problem,
