Replacing the WR

So, I've kinda half assed tried to sell my WR450, firstly because I did a stint overseas and then because I wanted a bike more for the tarmac and gravel than offroad.

I've since moved to Otago, probably one of the only better 'adventure riding' compared to Marlborough, and now find myself wanting a bike like the WR again
After having 2 decent offers on it I kinda found myself thinking, WTF would I actually replace this with that would be as much fun other than another WR (which financially is pointless). The only other bike that seems to be appealing would be a road legal 2 stroke, or I've even been tempted to get back in 4x4ing so I can stop worrying about ice all the time

So, I put the question to you guys, any great ideas?

Brand new bikes are out btw.

Dont replace the bike

Replace the tyres

Then go fang it

Then do it again

And spend all summer wearing them out while wearing a huge grin

Yep, if the WR's still in good shape add a big tank & comfy seat for the long gravel+ offroad days & ride. Spend the money you save on getting a 4wd as well for when it's too icy or you need to carry lots of beer

It's got all the fruit I need, but it's like a 4 year too soon 7 year itch to get rid of it haha.

I think if it doesn't sell before the trademe thingo expires this time around I'll stop thinking about it.

Tyres are good. Have to replace them constantly anyway!
