it was looked into, but the minimum order, compliance issues and the price meant it was not feasible,

Oh those are nice and squidley. I can imagine a bunch of teenagers loving them if they ever made it here. Wonder what you could sell them for?
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Compliance issues? There are shit loads of piece of crap dangerous Asian scooters introduced to NZ. I have no idea how they pass any test.

think you'll find scooters are a different world, a bit like microlight aircraft with their rules. Suzuki are bringing in the GSXR150 and there is a national championship series for them too

GSXR150 ain't a two smoker though. That's the appeal of these babies.

scooters under 50cc and 1.5kw do not need to be complied, so it makes a big difference, but they should have to be as there is some right crap that gets sold, and i dont think they would pass any test,

they are already here, the Development class here in chch has 6 or so turn up at different times. There has been 3 different models imported and all make a worthy race bike and are faster than the RG150.

Its harder to lose weight than gain horsepower.
