Fair point, my oath. But I reckon inflation adjustment will be part of the equation (indexed to average inflation obviously).
I'm a bit hazy on that bit, I'm really only a dumb tradesman so I'll leave that bit for the robbing accountant...

So fuck all that, it's just boring numbers and shit

What bike are you gonna get????

    What colour is it?

    What's it sound like?

Are you going to carpet the garage?
High miles, engine knock, rusty chrome, worn pegs...

OK. here's my take on inflation: it's caused by the increase in prices. Which makes it close enough to the increase in house prices that any attempt at a CGT that doesn't include inflation is unlikely to recover enough to pay for admin costs.

Especially as unreasonable pricks who can already make more by putting their money in the bank will suddenly decide they can do without the hassle of owning a rental.

'Cause if it's more than we're currently spending it may be more than we can afford.

Everyone is an expert at spending someone else's money mate, why wouldn't you be happy with the increases in spending, (in real terms) we've had over the last few years?
no innuendo here....just the regular definitions

Need: something that is necessary for an organism to live a healthy life. Needs are distinguished from wants in that, in the case of a need, a deficiency causes a clear adverse outcome: a dysfunction or death.

Healthy: In a good physical or mental condition; in good health.
    ‘I feel fit and healthy’

Relevant: Closely connected or appropriate to what is being done or considered. Appropriate to the current time, period, or circumstances; of contemporary interest.

    Affordable: inexpensive, reasonably priced
    ....wherezz that track go

You have to choose. When the price of modern medicine can easily run to hundreds of thousands per treatment you can't have healthy and affordable.

So have some pity on the poor bastards, when any attempt to rule out the more hideously priced health procedures is met with howls of outrage and any official attempt to point out that the funding of, say Herceptin necessarily means that many more effective treatments can't be funded is basically political suicide then they simply can't win.

qualify for Super.....just saying, not that you rich fullas even need it.

Fuck, I raced pre 63 while it was still state of the art - then pre 72 when it was new....Then the family ensured I didn't race the pre 82's....

I doubt Gareth Morgan will get elected to anything but may get in on a party vote.

Hes too preachy and seems incapable of accepting another point of view. Too much the purist and too little the politician

His stance on cats would likely alienate him from half the population as it is. Then there's some who would never trust a man who wants to get rid of pussy...cats

Politics is a boring topic to me, but good for amusement value if the buggers wouldn't keep "stealing" my money via taxes
