    Cool Help for WOF

    Hey Fellow Bikers,

I'm planning to buy a bike with no WOF.
The seller claims it should fly through without any issue.
I'm wondering if someone would be kind enough to inspect the bike for me.(Maybe someone who knows what they are doing unlike me)
Happy to pay for the time and crack a few beers.
Bike is a 250 Suzuki and located in Silverdale.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers,
    Nash

Suggest if it will fly through, you get seller to take it to get a WOF $40 or thereabouts.
You should attend as well - may save YOU a whole lot of hassle.

and the cost of a few beers - you could have yourself....

100% with the other 'dog'. Yes, get the seller to fly it through for you. VTNZ on Furnace Road in Silverdale are IME pretty good

Thanks for the Suggestion, I tried the same but the seller says he is too busy to get the WOF done and if he will get it done it will be both WOF and REGO and the price will go up quite a bit.
Hence i was hoping if someone could have alook at the bike for me.
    Cheers.

    Understand your point of view.

look at the bike, offer seller to pay for WOF you need it to pay the REGO anyway.
if it passes the WOF you guarantee to buy it. You have paid for the WOF.

you can pay the rego as you want.

if it doesn’t pass seller pays for it and any fixes before you redo the same offer with WOF.

at the end of the day, there are always more bikes bro.

Sounds almost as dodgy as an American president.

"'Too busy' my arse", as Jim would have it.

    Spray and walk away.

Sounds like a walk away to me.

To verify this tell the seller that you will take it for a WOF - if it passes you will buy it. If if says no (as I predict), walk away.

Hey - check the rego number on carjam and it may tell you if and when it failed it's last WOF. Though carjam has some seriously f-ed up WOF records some times.

The owner sounds like a tool, though occasionally there are genuine people who just can't be stuffed getting that stuff sorted on a perfectly fine ride and price it down to suit.

What they said. In my experience if it doesn't have a WOF it's because it can't get one.
I have taken the punt when the price reflected it... but I'm talking the sort of price you could spend the purchase price again on fixing it and still feel ahead of the game.

JUst tell the guy that you want it and you will pick it up and pay at the VTNZ in Furnace Road. Cos, you're a nice guy, you'll even pay for the WOF too. No time wasted at all. But if it fails ...................
