Hi all
What would you recommend - a new R6 or GSXR600. R6 wins on looks but is $7000 more than GSXR, which are cheaper because Suzuki hasn't innovated since 2011.
Cheers

Ummmmm you want us to tell you what to buy? Buy the one you like if you can afford it.
I had to make that same choice some 8 years ago.
I chose the gixxer for one reason - it fitted. Sitting on it felt like strapping myself into a magic body suit that allowed me to fly.
Main difference was height of the ride. New models might be different now but then the gixxer seat was lower. Which appealed to me with a smaller build.
Performance data makes no difference if you are not comfortable on the machine. Besides which either of them has more power than you could poke a stick at.

This man speak big truth. I am on my third GSXR 600, because they fit me and I like the power delivery. The answer is As alanB said, a GSXR 750. R6 is harder to ride on the road as all the power is at the top of the rev range and it has a more track inspired riding position. However, this may suit you. No 600 has had any innovations for years. The New R6 is still the old chassis and motor. Kawi 636?
This thread caused me to go have a snoop at the Suzuki summer fest bikes. GSX-S 750... $14'000. That is a steal. Sorry for the swerve op.

Don't be a wuss. Get a busa.
If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.
NNN.. If you are in the market for a nice blue R6 i have one here, 2006 only done 7000klms lots of nice aftermarket bits on it as well. PM me
Appreciate all the input. Sorry have been away on business for a few days.
I will be using it for my work commute. No more track days left in me
I agree that it comes down to comfort and GSXR is a bit more comfy than R6. I am also now falling for the ZX6Rs now after reading the many reviews since my last post.. I will swing past the dealers this weekend and test ride a few...
