I'm not much a believer in polite suggestions, or rules.

but if there are to be "rules" they should be enforced (probably by robots since humans are fucking stupid) - failing to keep left, panalty: shot in the head with a 12ga.

none of this pussy irrelevant "fines" or "warnings" or "stern talking to" horse shit which has never worked ever (evidence: the system still exists, if it "worked" it would be redundant by now)

and anyone who needs "reminding" how to operate a vehicle, should probably be crushed.

...and the vehicle sold for charity.

    "...all lanes flowing at 100km/h"

    When has that ever happened?

When you get stuck behind someone doing 100km/h (as shown on their under-reading speedo), and someone is doing exactly the same speed in the adjacent lane(s), there is often a huge gap in front of each of these dickheads.

Plenty of scope for one or more of them to slow down/speed up and then move left....

we have more than 1 lane up here in the north, often emergency vehicles lane split between lanes. Often requiring vehicles to move to the right of their lane.
Auckland drivers particularly challenged by this

emergency vehicles should be able to exceed the road limit.

    as should most riders

Well, it would happen more often when people learn to merge.
far to many running up the adjacent lane and forcing themselves in.
slowing the main lane, this compounds each time a vehicle does this.

IMHO reducing the length of merging lanes helped considerably at the SH1 Manurewa Sth bound hill merge, since altered.

Going to work each morning, when everyone keeps up and uses one lane (there are 2 in places) the average speed is much higher.

it has happened, just no where near rush hour.
there have been times in the past I have encountered higher speeds with nice even gaps and all lanes filled.

unfortunately, I am unlikely to see any of these advertisements. I would think I would be the target audience.
apart from you know who cook my sock?

    NZ often follows Victoria.....

But in akl we have far to many hazard vehicles to protect 1 person (3 or more with 2 people in each) and mway closed for hours.

even bridge replacement which could have been raised (hit every other year) not even considered.....

road reconstruction by chip seal, fails regularily within 3 months. Sweeping loose bits of metal a random exercise in frustration.

water company dug up part of my drive haven’t been back for 2 months
