I'm livin' the dream.
I was thinking something was wrong here as the sandcast were ultra rear prototype bikes I thought. So I checked as I remembered reading about them. Maybe I'm splitting hairs. It's a oldie very early one, and worth good coin.

Cool, I'd take well under half that for my K2. I bet they don't ride very differently & the K2 is easier to get parts for.
Im off to mount my horn on the other side too! Apparently that is the only difference.
the black shadow vinnies featured among other things black engines, they made more b/s's of some models than standard yet b/s sell for more, they also made a few 'white' shadows, same bikes but for customers who preferred the unpainted engine like the standard bike.
these sell now for up to 30 % more than a b/s
makes a tin of paint stripper a good return on investment...
They arent making any more of them so.......
The actual prototype (same colour too) went for $148k https://www.autoevolution.com/news/t...bay-76978.html

Mine is coming back from an exceptionally good bike mechanic's home today. He owed me a favour & has given it a sweet tune up.
I'm going to chuck it a pair of switch blocks & mudguards, a seat cover & badge set & it will look like a minter exactly the same as the one I had in '83.
Here's a couple of chums with most of the bits.

I'd add to that list CMS NL https://www.cmsnl.com/
and the surpisingly good and local Econohonda: http://www.anacondaltd.co.nz/ which is interesting name change..... Malcolm used to be excellent but maybe he has sold the business?
