Picked up a couple of riders so it was cool lane splitting in unison...
Got a decent park at the Grey St bike park...
    Coffee from Arabica taste's beaut...

Anyone else have a better ride in than normal?
Reading that tells me why suicide statistics are so high!
I read that and realise how cruel life can be!

I can do that all day!

Nice to arrive at work with a grin on your face.

My morning may have been even a little better than yours: There was a Fidel's coffee sitting on my desk when I arrived.
    You lucky lucky b... Jim2!
You just can't beat that Havana bean can ya!
Know if there is a cafe around top end of lambton Quay that brews the Havana?

How was my ride in this morning?

    Short - work from home.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Dropped the bike off at the shop to get the clutch sorted, so hopefully that'll be ready to pick up tonight.
Yeah saw the coppa there too. I was in front of a couple of bikes & we're all splitting, was funny to see us all merge into traffic at the same time!! Now ya see em now ya don't!

    Hey Mark, yeah twas me!
I saw you coming through from the rear & recognised the sound & colour as ya whizzed past! Inlight of the crap conditions I played it carefully, as it was I had to contend & wrestle with a cager merging in my space straight after seeing you!

It wasn't sunny, but it's always beautiful around the Pauatahanui inlet and then over the Haywards hill.
The only bad thing is that at the end of the hill there's a curve which is always dirty and today there was more gravel than usual. So I preferred not taking any risk and missed the green light

It was a good one this morning, the cagers seemed to be using their heads and mirrors.

In general I prefer the ride home, if I am early enough I can miss the usual turn and take the Pauatahanui inlet from Grays road and back round to whitby... nice nice nice.

Well the morning may have been great, but how's the afternoon - wet like Auckland? I got drenched on the way home 2nite, it sucked BIG time...just as well I wear waterproof gears to work every day, and I was riding on a brand new tyre just fitted too!

The best rides to work are undoubtedly Fridays and those days when you know you've got a holiday the following day, it's usually a mindset...but dry roads, low winds, and cloudless skiies help!!

And you still ride? What's the ride home like, do you take the long way at times?

Mate, you're not one of these *obsessive motorcycle fanatics* who park their bikes in their lounges and even sleep beside it, are you??
