Uneventful as always desired except I ended behind a vehicle with broken brake lights - things you often discover after hearing the brakes start squeaking accompanied with rapid distance reduction. Just a tad heavy braking resulted but was most worried about the car behind because I had no safe exit points, besides remaining on the edge of the lane.
... 100m down the road I holler at them while filtering "Your brake lights don't work". Priceless expression. Perfectly timed though, just like in the movies ... as I rolled up level they wind down their window ... couldn't believe my luck ... thought they might've been expecting either a message or to give some abuse. Turns out they just wanted to flick excess ash off their cig.
90% of the time spent writing this post was spent thinking of something witty to say. It may have been wasted.
