    Waterview Tunnel speed limits

So they've finally fixed the variable speed limit signs so they can display 100. Nice one, NZTA.

Wow...imagine doing a 100k on an Auckland motorway, given the way Westies drive I'd make it 70 so they can text and surf without having to watch the road as much.

How long before the moaning starts: "I forgot the tunnel's only 80 and I got a ticket, not fair!"

I was coming back from the North on 16 and hit the start of the motorway at about 5. 100 - 110 the whole way to Hillsborough except for the Massey roadworks and the tunnel. Wasn't like that going the other way!

Why aren't they building more tunnels? They could have built one from Manukau to Papakura by now instead of the never ending 3rd lane roadworks at Takanini.

Because the immigration department does not talk to the Infrastructure people.
Once we cuddle up to China then it will get done.
