Agreed. When I see comments about boring bikes I always wonder how they're being ridden.

Go for gold, I believe there is a red one in CHCH about to come up for sale. It can do 200, even has the video.

    No it's not.
Just illegal to cross the yellow line.

Are there not laws around overtaking a vehicle in the same lane? It's a big no-no over here

    Here you go: Passing

Although the yellow lines are commonly called "No Passing" lines, it could be argued that they should be called "No Crossing" lines... But, I suspect that there are too many NZ drivers/riders who are already confused about what they mean without getting into semantics...

Ah, thanks Moi! That's such a good idea, so long as the rider does it safely and smartly.

    Cheers for sharing!

Nah, that has lost some of what appealed to me. The seat is 30mm higher and the tank holds several litres less. Still, BIKE did a comparison test V the Speed Triple and the riders were evenly split. They gave it to another tester to break the tie and he went for the Triumph.

And yet when yellow lining the entire length of the road was proposed, it was stated that crossing the yellow lines to pass a cyclist was acceptable, so can you cross them or not?

If it's illegal there is a lot of revenue to be gathered fining drivers crossing the yellow lines passing cyclists climbing the hill, or from the evidence in the video fine the driver of the blue corolla for obstructing traffic.......
