I believe you can choose which set of runs to have ratified assuming more than one set beats the existing record.

I guess he was riding Nortons at the IoM and other road races, but there was a photo of he and Percy Coleman with Harleys or Indians at a horse racing track IIRC. And yes, he did name his first son Norton.

Main issue was the lack of canopy made it unstable, Glen said he was constantly correcting it but he reckoned it could have been fixed and gone faster, he said to me "I've done some dumb shit in my life but that was the scariest thing I've ever done" A sidecar has gone faster in NZ but it only did a one way run

Apparently at least one of the racetracks marked for sale is similar. Unlike the Defence land though, the race tracks shouldn't get tied up in land claims?
