    Wellington airport parking

Hi all, I'm a regular visitor to Wellington airport and I often park the bike there for the day. Airport staff have advised me repeatedly not to pay for parking as bikes are free.
With the new barriers in place its a hell of a squeeze getting out with a pretty wide bike - anyone else have this issue or is there an escape route that I've missed?

    Wellington airport scoot parking

Do you take a ticket to get in & then go around the barriers to get out with no issues? Or should you/can you squeeze around the barrier to get in as well? I remember parking there for free a few years ago then the other week I assumed it was the same but then I took a ticket to get in, squeezed around to get out & now that i need to go back there again I am worried that I should have paid & now they will think I have been there for several weeks at huge fees.

The entrance and exit gates have cameras that scan the front number plates of cars. If you don't have a front plate there no way they will know how long you have been there.
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.
