    where to buy heim joint?

anyone know who stocks these in NZ?

Need an M8, left hand thread preferably with a 6mm hole, but can make a bushing if eye hole is bigger.

aftermarket rearsets dont match the thread size on quick shifter shift rod

Try SAECOPrecision or SAECOWilson. They'll know them as rod ends. You my need to sleeve an 8mm one down to 6mm hole though. I always used ones fitted with a grease nipple too.
There are two songs, "Stairway to Heaven" and "Highway to Hell" which I think give an indication of expected traffic flow
