    Interesting informative answers

Thanks for the replies to this thread.

I did say I am naive about these things and I have lived in a sheltered situation for the latter stages of my life.

I was disturbed by a thread on this forum regarding bike thefts. I had no idea just how bad things have become back in the city areas.

Likewise I wondered just what it was that made people seem so paranoid about security/privacy on these forums. I guess I have been quite gullible about it.

When I retired I swore I never wanted to see another computer again in my life but gradually I have begun to feel the isolation of my sheltered choice of place to live.

I have always had and loved riding motorbikes and missed the comradery associated with them. (I am a Ulysses club member)

I found the computer and the nett enabled me to reach out to other bikers such as on KB but it all seemed a bit too impersonal and anonymous at times and wondered why this had to be. :spudwhat:

Thank you for your help. Cheers John. :spudwave:

If you want to meet me, i have no worries.

I think many people are dubios bout revealing who they are untill they know more bout the site and whos on it, cant blame them for that
There is no dark side of the moon, really, as a matter of fact. Its all dark...

Who are you calling a crock?
I have a specially uncomfortable pitchfork reserved for your arse. And it's been heating for a very long time over a slow-burning heathen.
