Its the most lupins ive ever seen thru Tekapo / Twizel quite a sight.
The Zook got a some great rides to Haast / Queenstown and surrounding areas.

DOC hates Lupins - they have them as a noxious weed in that location. Despite the tourists flocking to see them every year.
Given the utterly barren nature of the land around there you think they would embrace anything with colour.
