Might do, I'll be up in Auckland anyway. Staying with Ms.Pillion again and gonna meet Zana for a pic (proof of reality) and maybe a short ride. Then doin the Armegeddon thing sunday. Could be up for a ride sunday afternoon or monday if the weather is nice. (why is it that everytime I have something other than work going on it fuckin rains?)

To all disbelievers, I would like to confirm that Zandalee is a real person (thou not her real name) and that the infamous profile pic is an actual picture of her (taken by me at a work party).

She is a very good friend of mine, a wonderful person with a bit of a naughty sense of humour. When she expressed an interest in coming along for a few rides I suggested she join Kiwi Biker as I was sure she wouldn't be short of pillon offers..........(I think she is still working through answering all her PM's)

So hopefully we will see her out soon on one of the organised rides and all you doubters can put your minds at rest! (if Waylander doesn't get a pic up first)

well, I have to admit that I'm a little unsure of its provenance.

in fact, I occasionally have dark little suspicions that it may be (gasp) a REPLICA.

however, its difficult to prove, one way or the other, given the legendarily spotty record of Spagthorpe's engine number production runs. I suspect that if my bike is, in fact, the genuine article, that it must be one of the '62 units from the Welsh factory, made on the day of the Great September Pub Lunch.

naturally, this would increase its value immensely, were it true, but the fact that the lead engineer at the time was pissed and forgot to braze the serial number tags onto the engine blocks that day has made the collector's market for my bike a little hesitant, to say the least.

but that doesn't bother me; its my baby, and I have no intention of selling it.
