It's now top of my list of most desirable motorcycles. Seriously. Done my nuts. Co-pilot loves it too. we both find it comfortable and serious fun.

Would that of been the Buell CityX? Was it blue? And did it have handlebar guards and light guards?

And BD, too much Wayne's World?

Except for the one in your avatar

I'm pretty sure the only Buell to have clear fairings is the CityX.

I find these things strangely alluring too Dave. They look good and that silly bit down deep in me (Not too deep) gets excited by the cubes but how long would that muffler stay that shape?

Nice to see you back WINJA did you have a wee break? Cheers John.

I hate to be negative, buuuuuuut:

It's supposed to be dual purpose right?
That kewl front disc isn't going to like soft sand or mud
That belt drive isn't going to like shingle
That underslung muffler isn't going to like bouncing over stuff.
The frame doesn't take kindly to even a minor spill as Two Wheels found out when one fell off it's side stand. Didn't so much hurt it as scatch the buggery out of it.

I have seen a photo in a recent magazine of a new Buell with a translucent tank (orange?). That'd take the guesswork outa how much gas was left. Shame about the magnetic tankbag though.

BIKE magazine (Sept) has an article on the fifty best cornering bikes of all time. The surprise winner (to me anyway) was the Buell XB12R Firebolt.

Those of you not being lucky enough to own such a bike, spare me your outraged indignation, you at least have to read the article first to see how they arrived at this conclusion.
