Never been much into dogs - bit like kids, they require too much time, money and effort to make them turn out right, and they follow you everywhere! I once went out with a guy like that and it gets really annoying after a while!

Having said that, I do love well trained dogs, they are a real delight and a credit to the time and effort put in by their owners.

But we're cat people through and through, got a 15 year-old tabby female, her 14 year-old black and white son, and a silver tabby eight month-old kitten who rules the roost! Good lap and feet warmers - and they don't shit all over the lawn or need walking twice a day!
Yes, I am pedantic about spelling and grammar so get used to it!

Love my dog. You know the old saying? "If you don't have something nice to say...." Well I have nothing to say about cats!

Hard case - I had a couple of stray cats at one stage, ending up at our place a couple of years apart,I had both neutered as I always do...stray cats shouldn't produce more stray cats. The older ginger male hated the tabby female and wouldn't have anything to do with her - but he always fed her.He would bring home mice and call her outside to feed, then he brought live ones and helped her chase them around the deck...later it was rats. She knew his call and would race outside when she heard him coming with something in his mouth. He always hated her,but looked after her in his own way.

dont really understand the pet thing. tried it, had a dog and some cats, but cant be stuffed these days. they cost money and they smell bad.

impacted anal glands? just say no.

you gotta draw a line where on one side, you whack bugs on sight and dont swerve on the road for things small enough not to cause a crash, and on the other side, you spend money on non-essential vet bills and cry when they die of old age. me, I only let humans on the expensive side of that line. and not _every_ human, either.

although I failed a WOF on a car once because of hedgehog spines stuck in the tyres, so it does pay to swerve for critters with hard pointy bits.
