    Idiot Biker

No Im not referring to all bikers just one I saw yesterday. Lovely bike racer type going to fast to notice much more than that and the fact I couldnt belive what the guy was wearing. Yeah some probably guessed it t shirt and shorts. Had a skid lid on big wow. Muttered to myself for a while then forgot bout him. Later still saw same guy again except this time had girl on back dressed like most teenage girls I see round you know the ones top 3 sizes to small jeans. Dont reckon either would look to flash if they came off. Bet if they slid down the road they wouldnt be showing off skin for some time. Ahhhh dont ya just want to beat some sense into them????

Ahhh got that off my chest thanks for reading

I've just got back from the California where T-shirt and shorts seems to be the standard dress for riding sports bikes on the freeways....lane-splitting at 70mph+...at least the harley guys wear jeans and sleeveless leather jackets!

Nope...If they make the choice not to wear safety gear then they'll have to live (or die) with the consequences.

I'm assuming that you always wear full gear every time you get on a bike...and good on you for looking after yourself, but this is a free country (to a certain extent) that we live in and people can make their own decisions.

To get nominated for a Darwin award you must be dead.
But it would be interesting to hear some stories of other people on the site who have done dumb things, but lived.

No no no no no. Darwin awards are awarded for services to the gene pool - usually removing oneself from it. Therefore if you are dead, but have had children, you can't have a Darwin award. You can, however, receive one for removing yourself from the gene pool without necessarily being dead.

How exactly you go about doing this I'll leave for theimagination

Yeah I know its their problem but my thought is more with the people that are left to clean up the mess and the family and people who care bout them

Give 'em a nudge - that'll learn 'em.

It's called tough love. Saw a clip at a mates place, chick on the back of a sprotsbike, guy pops a wheelie, she goes down face first, wearing nothing but hot pants and a bikini top. Doubt she'd wear that anymore.

no offence, but i wish people would stop crying about other peoples lack of safety gear, mankind has been learning from their mistakes for an obscene amount of years.

worlds got too many pussies in it as it is, people will never learn if you dont let them, besides all sorts of things factor into some peoples choice of to wear gear or not to wear

and it is _ their choice _

no gear, no sympathy. Good luck to them, but if they come off be it on their own backs, and arms, legs, neck, head....
