    Plastic Welding - Wgtn

Before any of you tell me to search the KB forums about this I HAVE! Godamn Aucklanders have loads of people up there, but I cant find anything about plastic welders in Wellytown.....
The right fairings on my bike around the sheild part have 'snapped' of and at present are duct taped on, the break is clean and it looks as though it MAY be an easy (ish) job but there are are few more cracks as well. Can anyone recommend anyone, or maybe someone here could help? Im extremely broke atm so haven't got alot of moola. . . . .

Also if anyone has a spare right front indicator or mirror (right) for a KR150 could you please pm me with a price etc, Im looking at waiting 10 weeks for one form Japan . . . .

I know a guy in Makara who did my front mudgard for me when I snapped it in half. He mainly paints stuff (as in vehicles) though but he might be worth a go. Shall I pm you his details? Don't know how cheap he'd be but get a quote off him and see what he reckons.

I've got that indicator too if you want to try it out (and maybe even a mirror but I'll need to check that out and I don't know if it would fit or not but I'd assume so).

That'd be cool if you could pm that guy's details thanks!

As for the indicator, the actual mould that the indicator is attatched to has broken of to, so I need to get an actual genuine indicator but thanks for the offer! As for the mirror - yes please, I can always come have a looksie . . .

These dudes are pretty handy with plastic welding. Not too sure if they'd work for beer, but it's a pretty tiny job if you just took the fairing in there and asked em to sort it.

    Why thankyou MrMelon

SNUFFLES - yea, I had a wee issue with the wind awhile back and was "blown" into a grass bank. Inexperience was the problem.... Then the poor guy that rode it back from Featherston for me hit a slick patch and the bike went for a slide (on the same side that I hit the bank) so its looking a lil worse for wear.

    What Mr Melon said..

I've used All Bumper Repairs in Kilbirnie twice to fix smashed fairing panels. They don't do painting though - I find that odd. They'll repair a car or bike panel but send you packing to find someone else to paint their handywork? Good guys but maybe they should call themselves "Not quite All Bumper Repairs"or Half-a-Bumper Repair...
    Reasonable prices and good work.

lol! Yea went and saw these guy's yesterday, the guy I spoke to was really friendly and helpful. They gave me a quote no worries, though your right they dont do the painting which does seem a little odd.
