or just another concept bike from Honda?
or just another concept bike from Honda?
As far as I know it's only a concept.....but I do like lots !!!!
"...you meet the weirdest people riding a Guzzi !!..."
Shit me mate that's a bit more like it. You might even pull a few wheelies on that.
Superdukes. Serving up shame to sportsbikes since ages ago.
That's the NAS (US concept bike from YEARS back). Nice though, innit? It was designed by Honda US people, and as far as I know, it's not a running model (just made of carefully crafted Wisconsin cheese and whatnot).
... and that's what I think.
Or summat.
Or maybe not...
Dunno really....![]()
hmmm
I had to put down my own brand.. but i think it looks like shit

Looks alright to me. The mono front has been around a while of course and makes the bike look less traditional, if that is the word. Was it Elf Honda that raced with a front setup like this quite a few years ago now? And Yamaha brought out a production bike like this (not V2) also, I think.

Ever notice that anyone slower than you is an idiot, but anyone going faster is a maniac?
No mate, the '06 'storm will looks just like the '97-'05 models, and why is that?
Check out a 97 CBR600 and an '05 CBR600RR, why hasnt the Firestorm evolved like that?
The front end on this thing seems to use one short but large diameter telescopic fork, whereas the Yamaha GTS and Bimota Tesi used a one sided swingarm with centre hub steering (is that the right word?) The Honda system looks v intreresting- how do they stop the fork staunchion from spinning?Originally Posted by zadok
I think it's a wicked looking bike, but if it ever makes it into production I can't see them selling this puppy for $14K. Maybe $30K...
My daughter telling me like it is:"There is an old man in your face daddy!"
thats one nice looking beasty.
yeah the front end is a elf honda copy( remember ron haslem in the 80's) but it was that dutch dude nicco bakker who really sorted the system ( remember the QCS bakker FZR1000 & 750s of the late 80's)
You got me there.....I don't remember about no knicker bockers!Originally Posted by T.W.R

Looks like Honda have taken a page from the Book of Lazareth![]()
Reactor Online. Sensors Online. Weapons Online. All Systems Nominal.
i've got a mcn report somewhere on the nicco bakker QCS bikes but heres another outfit who did similar things ( VH concept bike 94') GSXR11 based and the misunderstood yamaha GTS1000
Elf copy? WTF? Have a look at the one photo that shows the front suspension, its just like one massive fork tube. Both the elf and Bakker ran a seperate swing arm lever to support the suspension. The Honda NAS doesnt.Originally Posted by T.W.R
Elf Honda photo attached, fyi.
That front end was seen before and think it was a dutch guy who trialled it on something like an Aprilia 125? Seem to remember Alan Cathcart testing it, and being very impressed by it.
