I first rode that hill in 1973 on my Suzuki A100. It is thoroughly marvellous and you never get sick of that glorious view of the Akaroa Harbour as you go over the top. I didn't see Hilltop Tavern in the video. Is it planned to add that to the landscape in the future?

    Great work
    Cheers

Talking about perspective etc - if anything the sim makes the hil less steep. Need to make the audio reflect this with some hard pulling out of the tight uphills.

Besides adding the Hilltop etc, when you do Little River you need Neil M - Ellipsis on here - on the side of the road giving the finger. I'm sure he'd pose or supply a pic.

Yes the HillTop Tavern is a must have, but I'll need to get that right. Other buildings/houses etc will make it in as well. Coming over the top and seeing Akaroa Harbour unfold in VR is almost as rewarding as it is in real life.

I think the gradient perspective is off due to the stretching effect of the recording, in game it feels near on right. Ha funny you say that about Ellipsis, I was thinking the same thing!

If you want real road furniture I can drees up in a blue suit and point a laser down the Motukarara Straight for ya. Just like old times. I promise a reaction when the TZ flies past too.

Good stretch of road for a wheelie too, and there's a few GSXR1000's in the sim. This time I won't stop.

    Sunday cruise with friends.

Adding power lines, stationary traffic, moving bike traffic (ghost bikes of rides I've recorded - hence why they disappear if you get too close), lots more grass texture and distant tree groups.

Great stuff. Bike needs a softer compound rear though.
