    Gold wings are land barges.

Are you trying to get the high score posting on every thread?

Hi Scummy, good to see you are still here. You're retired like me these days aren't you so no free trips up to Porirua anymore for the meet-ups at Sandbar?
    Cheers

Yep I’m retired so, as you say - no free trips to the Sandbar.
Was up north in November and experienced the Transmission Gully bit of road, like an American freeway compared with the bottleneck at Whitby etc.
    Stay safe Merv.

Hello Scumdog old mate. Long time no see, haven't visited here for years. Broke my beautiful Ducati in the Catlins 2009 and not allowed to ride any more. Still, its fun to dream.

God forbid, people might expect me to be able to ride it.

I suppose a whole new generation would benefit from the entertainment...

Its been a long time but I stayed on KB for a while afterwards. Haven't driven through the Catlins since so a leisurely drive now would be enjoyable with a stop at the unlucky bend. It is a beautiful part of New Zealand. Still think about Scumdog when going through Balclutha.

How you doing Ocean1? Are you in Napier or around there? Memory is hazy.

Wellington, slowing down but still mostly upright.

New bike last week, hoping to make good use of it over the rest of summer.

    Take care eh?

Ah - the meteorology chap? Enjoy your bike and look after yourself. I could ride again but my family would be worried and that is wrong.

    Be good.

A lot left went it stopped being international IMO A lot more would come back if they brought back both Tags and the KB wave.
