    Restricted troubles?

I recently bought an mt07 which came with a black widow exhaust, I’ve bought an original exhaust which hasn’t yet arrived and I’m due to take my cbta restricted on Sunday, am I likely to run into trouble with the examiner?

    EDIT,
Thanks to all who commented, I passed the restricted today with 9 faults, mainly not checking blind spots.
When the one exhaust arrives I’ll definitely swap it, the black widow makes me ride in a way that I’m trying to calm it down. It’s the 200mm one if anyone is interested- the noisiest of the bunch!
Examiner never even glanced at it!

Your bike will be checked for WoF and Registration - so make sure the stickers are clean and well visible

Other than that, I would not expect any issues.

(Unless maybe that BlackWidow is excessively loud and draws attention to itself)

    Cheers,

It can definitely be loud but if you ride it with restraint it’s a lot more palatable.
When I first got it there was no db killer in it and it was pretty obnoxious, adding a db killer tamed it a bit though

You should not need to be told this but so many do. You don't mention the exhaust. At all. Don't stare at it, ignore it. As far as you are concerned everything is normal. If the tester mentions it, well that's another matter. It's up to him to make it a problem, not you.

    Is it a LAMS MT07?

If so, it'll be fine. If not, no. Testing officers got an instruction a couple of years back to ignore exhaust mods when testing CBTA.

Just make sure it's the LAMS version.

Cheers, it wasn’t questioned on the ride forever I did today so I don’t imagine it will be tomorrow

Good luck. Concentrate in your head the actions you will perform..you can practice them in your head. If you are calm with them you will be able to look up.
Looking down occurs when you are flustered. Always look up.

Every Black Widow exhaust I could find on youtube was a full system that removes the cat. They sound loud so I can understand your concern about the test.

Oh jesus, I tried to watch that but Gomer Pigstrotter was unbearable to listen to for even a few seconds.
