    The Rock, MotoGP comp

Just a wee heads up for those with optimism and a valid passport. The Rock radio station is running a competition for 2 people to go to the Thai round..

Not all of want to listen to continuous adverts.

Or the same songs repeated ad nauseam.

Or overly excited primates at breakfast time being 'funny' but not even close to.

Um, spotify. Try it for free but the $15 a month is worth it. Just need a bluetooth speaker and a phone.
Want to hear a particular Ted Nugent album? (I don't actually know who he is) dial it up. Or his song collection? Or bands like him? Or just genre mixes of easy listening bluegrass folk, or whatever floats your boat?

Me? Occasionally I'll listen to the Backinblack album for a small dose of teenage nostalgia. But mostly I'm listening to music made in the last 10 years that I would never have been exposed to (but in my 2 dimensional taste of Iberian Yodeling).

i use a mix of you tube, radio stations and some talkback, the biggest thing is actually putting something on as many jobs are short and i'm all over a house and can't hear it everywhere. i guess if i listened to it all day every day i'd invest in spotify maybe. theres a ton of radio stations out there for different shite

Yeah I used to stream channel radio stuff but fav disappeared and Spotify filled the void.

Car stereo are cheap, I jump in mine and it autoplays where I left off on the kitchen speaker for example.

Must set a better BT speaker up for the garage. Hmm. Lunchtime mission.

Same here, and with spotify on my phone and computer when I leave my car and disconnect from the stereo spotify on my pc is ready at the same point of the song when I disconnected. Ah modern tech, how I both love and despise thee.

Can't be arsed trying to find my phone and selecting or choosing songs when my mind is on other things, I might as well have my Walkman back.

Chuck Brian FM on and leave it at that.

That's why I usually have mine to Daily mix. Autoplay about 40 songs and changes every week. Can then select another auto mix if I am on long listening that week.

    'bout the same size

    'bout the same battery life

that's actually what I use, and think of, mine as

    bigger range of music 'though

(fuck paying $15 a month to rent music - I'd rather hit Penny Lane and grab a cd)
