Wellington it is a glorious day to get out there

Was a really noisy night with loud surf and wind noises but no real wind at my campsite. Wind was battering the tent n the morning though.Was a nice sunrise

The loop out was River Road,Waione HoroeKa Road,Waihi Valley Road(go to the falls f you havent seen them) Then the highlight for me,Towai Road and Coonoor Road.

Then a loop back to Pongaroa ,Route 52 South. I shuold Have got gas at Pongaroa cos tere ws a detour on Route 52. I made my own detour to head for Pukaha Wildliife centre for a spot of lunch. Was low on fuel by then arrived in Masterton with zero kilometres range (about -10km)
A bit of gravel on both days,Towai and Coonoor roads a bit track like in places.

if it looks like it may be wet have some meaty tyres for Towai and Coonoor Rd would be greasy in a few places

Yes, the map was great as I had no idea where most of those places are!
