It wasn't a bad day up here either. Even a few Harleys out there!

    First ride for a month.

Ah well. All good things have to come to an end and a rainy Sunday must eventually fall upon us.
Pity as 2 years ago today I fell gravely ill with an infection. It's been a slow road to recovery so would have been nice to go for a celebratory ride.
Going to find some gravel roads anyway. . . Hmm.

    But wait! What's this?
It's a stonkin hidden Glorious day. Again. Woohoo.

    Went past the Martinborough airport.
Fair few sheep on the runway today. (Click photo and zoom). Suppose it is a Sunday.

Did get a shower as I got into upper hutt that would have soaked my vented leathers but was a good first test of adventure gear.

Did the norf loop today. Not going to publise what that means. Get on Google and find new loops.
    Oh. Roadsigns. . .

Had to dodge about 4 min of sprinkle but the rest dry.
Left 11 so roads could dry. Back 3.30.

Beer and fries at Baylands Petone. Check them out.

Fog in Auckland until 1 PM! Scrubbing in the new tyre carefully as there were damp patches in the shade.
Update: Good ride home, tyre looks better now!Click image for larger version.

Where did you get the short number plate mount? The standard one one sticks out like dogs balls
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.

Std ones sticks out on a shelf under the house (next to the bar end mirrors and the pillion pegs). I think it was R&G from uk.

Just about to book it in for 20k service. Don't have the spare energy to do it, next time.

R&G looks nice but a bit up there around $250. Ali Express have one for $85.
