Friday went to Whanganui for the GS Rallye via the Manawatu Tag near Ashurst/Palmy

Saturday Ride day.I did the seal/gravel route which was a total of about 375km with some magic rods in between stretches of gravel one section of which was quite thick with larger stones than normal.I found a roadside ditch on that section some other riders stopped to help me get it out of the ditch.Only damage was my pride.I was a tired boy at the en
About 220 attendees. All sorts of bikes too

Sunday came home via Wairarapa over a road recommended to me, Pori Road off Pahiatua/Pongaroa Rd, some gravel on that too really good views. Was windy in patches on the hill. I've thought about that road but never done at as on roadbike.

Gee sounds like you had a fantastic weekend. Good for you. Lets all get out there rather than bitching. Get riding.
