Ok not so Glorious today. Was supposed to go trail riding but TG roadworks on return would turn a long 2hr15 drive to say 3hr.

So i texted a mate to go trials riding as he has a new bike i arranged. Helping a mate fence.

So I decided to play tag.

And out to tge actually beach.

Then an old road we'd do on bicycles if we were ambitious.
Hardly remember where river access was, built over. Egg farm i think was gone ages ago.

Another nice day. Elected to do the Ixion Christmas trial.
After the first loop my brain to limbs coordination seemed to lose its proper instead favouring the Gumby filter.
Had a rest and attempted again but with less success. Just have to accept some days are like that.
Still great groump of guys and guyesses.
Bbq and beer after was highlight in the end.

Wonderful property Wonderful owners.

We are lucky to be able to ride.

Please please understand that our lives are i won't say blessed because that implies a sky pixie, and one that wants to spend your 10% that could be motorcycle money, and worse has you couped inside a building when you should be outside riding bikes.
So glad I didn't waste my life there.
Anyway where was I?

Oh that's right. We are bloody lucky if our meatsack outers are working well enough to go riding in this fantastic country .
At some stage we will be looking back with a failing body. Hopefully despite the desire to have another shot at the target we can resolve that at least we rode when we could and had a good slice of that delicious pie. Are replete and can sit back with some satisfaction.

Point is. Get out and ride. You might be surprised when it is no longer possible.

Nice day up country Went to get the Manawatu Tag .Two Waitomo Stations so far have only 91 and diesel.Never noticed that before.23 degrees not much wind and its mostly a tail wind it seems.Not sure weather I will go home via Shannon or Alfredton yet

Lovely. I don't usually ride to work, too close to get togged up (8min). Went to get warrant today. Fun but sheesh cars are a drag commuting.

Would have been a great day out. I'm jelly.

I came home via Shannon,woulda been a bit late to go via The Wairarapa. Had a bite to eat at Three High Street Coffee House,(Marton) quite nice, quite busy .From there I went to Cheltenham but missed the turn off at Halcome and ended up in Feilding where I took the opportunity to get robbed by BP for some 98. Road works between Feilding and Cheltenham so I sat in the sun for two long stops . Was hoping there woud be a side road to miss the roadworks but no luck Was 26 deg sitting there .Too hot.
Saw two cops on the way up one on transmission gulley and another just north of TG,both southbound.
