    Just do what i did....
"Inform her that you would quite happily give up the bike for the relationship....would she give up the shopping, and allow you to take care of the accounts??"
Shows how much genuine thought is involved in her actions.
Besides the bike can allways get you another women, isnt NZ 60% women or something.
But good luck in getting another bike the same
But seriously bro, if he gets heavy with you - you just have to be cunning. If she thinks more of your dedication is on the bike that your relationship, show her you care by making sure she doesnt hurt herself (by taking her credit cards away). She will then understand that life is all about living, not relationships.

A sure fire way to getting heaps of rep is posting crap. I used to post 50 posts a day of nothing and got heaps of rep. Now that I don't post much and think about what I'm about to post, I get no rep. Go figure

I'm very sorry to hear that, Mr Frosty. Biking always presents difficulties for partners who are not themselves riders. As well as the "it's dangerous" aspect there is also the "it's something you do without me, that I can't share".

Mrs Ixion has never understood what biking is to me, but has, reluctantly, accepted it as being a part of what I am, so I have never had to make the decision you have had to. It must have been a very difficult one, both on your own behalf and that of your bairns.

I hope it all works out for you.

(As an aside, perhaps some of the posters in this thread might wish to consider the appropriateness of what they have posted)
