    Boy Racer caught

Saw the following in the Dom post today:

"Kapiti Coast police have caught another driver using Paekakariki Hill Rd as a racetrack, the 3rd this year. A 21 year old Lower Hutt man clocked by police travelling at 176Kmh on Thursday last week is to appear in Porirua District Court next Friday"

Note that they are patrolling the hill, note also the day, Thursday! Be careful on TRTNR.

Note also the speed 176Kmh!!! What a pussy I can go much faster than that on the hill.

That's not a wide road either. It should be closed to all but bikers.
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.

Jeez, what did he stop for?

So screwdrivers/allen keys will be supplied to all participants in TRTNR for removal of flat metallic attachments to rear of motorcycles prior to the start next week - just to ensure the power/weight advantage is maximised

If it'd stop blimmin raining for long enough I'd be keen to do the reconnaisance run. Now if I can just find that earplug for the scanner...

106 (or 96) over the speed limit! There is a 70 limit over most of the road now. This is ridikulous, went over it today and all the restraint in the world could not keep me within it. having said that i did keep well within my side of the road.

BUT came round two, easy, corners and there were idiots in 4wd's cutting the corners. the first by about 1/2 meter, the second just over a meter.
