Been done before. Gyronaut X1 was the prototype and suppose to be used for a World Speed record attempt. Dick Leppan and team from I think Detroit.
In the end they used a conventional streamliner for the record. Two Triumph twins.

Honda also have dabbled in this (admittedly I'm posting this partly because the back end is an NC...)

Moe: Well, I'm better than dirt. Well, most kinds of dirt. I mean not that fancy store bought dirt. That stuffs loaded with nutrients. I...I can't compete with that stuff.

Which is great until you need to lean further to make a corner and the computer says no and spears you into an oncoming truck. Penalties for misjudging a corner, already high, will be getting higher
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
those cheap ass bitches can do anything with ductape.

I think this technology is not meant for benefit of human riders.
Ukraine conflict has seen rise of drone warfare and now both sides are developing under and overwater systems as well. The only thing missing is a land based system.
Just think of what a ktm450 style machine with red bull Romaniacs style capability with a 100kg warhead mounted on it could do.
Indefinite loitering in forest till needed then launching towards target via an indirect route.
Finally a KTM would self detonate with a benefit to its owner.
Every great cause begins as a movement, becomes a business, and eventually degenerates into a racket - Eric Hoffer
