I saw a late 1800 wing stripped down to the bare chassis last week.

To look at it's a giant sportsbike frame complete with single sided arm.

The temptation as the stripper agreed is to put sportsbike cosmetics on one.

They're certainly more durable than you might think

Those honda engine guards are very designed you don't have to think about
    Bike falling over.

Semi on-topic. A guy down Nelson has put a 6 cylinder wing engine into a Hillman Imp and made a very nice job of it. mini-Porsche almost. https://www.youtube.com/@yoeddynz

Makes sense, they probably weigh about the same!

My brother-in-law had the performance version of the Imp - Sunbeam something with twin carbs. He reckoned that flat out on the Northwestern motorway the front got light enough to lose steering in strong winds.

I was thinking that the Commodore 1800 was the worst car I'd ever owned. I'd completely forgotten the bloody Imp.
